A good piece of leather should last you a lifetime. However, like most things, you need to show your leather some love.
Keep your leather out of the sun in a cool dry place when not in use. Keep it clean by using a damp cloth in order to avoid getting dirt particles into the leather as they can cause abrasion from the inside. Never use soap or cleansers. Stick with water.
